Perferct Employment Reference Letter

RPL skill assessment is prepared by candidates who do not have any ICT skills or tertiary ICT qualifications. The Australian Computer Society (ACS) will analyze skill assessment before being qualified to move to Australia. ACS Australia Migration Skills Assessment provides applicants who would not meet the ICT criteria with the opportunity of assessing their knowledge and abilities through RPL reports. The RPL report format is already familiar to us. You can go through the document checklist if any confusion arises.

If your academic level qualifications and work experience are at a professional ICT level and are closely related to the skilled occupation list (ANZSCO) for migration purposes, the ACS ICT skills assessment will be considered; nevertheless, the skill and knowledge must be matched. Your credentials and experience are initially assessed or researched to determine AQF comparability based on Australian national education requirements.

An employment reference letter is an important component of the RPL report for non-ICT professionals since it represents what they have learned throughout all those years of experience that are equivalent to an ICT degree. Your work reference letter includes information about your educational background, past job history, competencies, and talents. An employer reference letter must be included when submitting an RPL report.

What Is Skilled Employment For RPL Report?

The Employment opportunity with at least 20 hours per week and payable can be considered for skill assessment purposes that are called Skilled Employment. The work to be evaluated must be conducted at the degree of depth and complexity appropriate for the specified occupation. The degree of expertise necessary should also be reflected in the salary. Please keep in mind that unpaid/partially paid leave or volunteer activities will not be regarded as paid work at the requisite skill level of a specified occupation for skills assessment.

An employment reference letter also plays a vital role in helping you get that positive result from the ACS. To be considered acceptable for migration skills evaluation, work experience must be professional ICT level and related to the selected ANZSCO occupation.

Rules To Follow While Writing Employment Reference Letter

  1. Dates in the format DD/MM/YYYY throughout the whole period of the job.

How Do You Submit Your Employment Reference Letter?

When drafting the online applications, applicants must break out employment episodes to indicate “Australia” and “Outside of Australia” employment.

a. Australia Employment:

  1. Each duration of employment inside Australia must be written individually in the online application.

b. Outside Australia Employment:

  1. If you have worked for various employers or outside Australia, employment is broken up by Australian employment episodes; each duration of employment outside Australia must be documented separately in the online application.
  2. Suppose you have worked in numerous countries (except Australia) for the same company and in the same or closely similar occupation. In that case, this should be included in the online application as a single period of employment outside of Australia.

When Will Your Work Experience Be Termed Unsuitable?

  1. Working as different employers at the Same Time

If the applicants complete one employment period while also doing another employment period, only one employment event is recognized at any one moment.

  1. ANZSCO is not related to the nominated ANZSCO.

The responsibilities stated have been assessed as not being associated with the defined occupation based on the facts provided in the paperwork.

  1. Insufficient documentation leads to failed assessment.

If the documentation given does not satisfy the requirements of the Skills Assessment Guidelines or is insufficient to meet the assessment criteria, it will be termed as not assessed.

  1. Lack of detail causes the work episode not to be evaluable.

Key Areas To Focus While Writing Your ACS Employment Reference Letter

Suppose you need a well-written employment reference letter for the ACS RPL report. In that case, ACS RPL Australia offers a platform where you can receive the best RPL report writing services as well as reference samples for your guidance. We’ve highlighted key areas for writing your ACS employment reference letter below.

  1. Proper details on the employment period

The key to success is to create unique, plagiarism-free material. Make certain you write about actual job experiences and do not attempt to deceive ACS. Furthermore, do not use content from online examples. According to the ANZSCO code, any work experience you provide must be professional and relevant to the selected occupation.

2. Adequate work experience details

Before applying for the ACS skills assessment, you must have sufficient work experience since ACS has established the minimum work experience necessary to ensure candidates meet the skill level standards.

Only employment that meets the skill level requirements counts as Skilled Employment and qualifies for migration points. When providing an employment reference, remember to mention your work responsibilities, tasks, and skill sets, highlighting all the areas of competence.

3. Use valid signatures

The employment reference letter you give must be signed/verified by the employer or an authorized organization representative. Details such as the name and position of the person making the recommendation must be specified. Using fake signatures on organizations not existing may get you banned from re-submitting the application.

Additional Points To Consider For Employment Reference Letter

Work experience should be accumulated at the appropriate level before going on to skill evaluation. ACS has indicated the minimal standard of work experience necessary to meet the required skill level. The date on which the minimum level of competence is attained shall be the starting point for migrating as a skilled employee.

  1. To be a skilled employee, it is critical to have a basic degree of experience. Work experience before obtaining the minimum specified level of experience will not be regarded as sufficient, which may negatively impact your RPL. Because of the gap in experience, your RPL will be deemed ineligible for migration.
  2. Be mindful of the time you spend working while gaining experience in immigration. The immigration authorities have also standardized the situation for you, and the problem of full-time vs. part-time employment is present. It has been explicitly stated that weekly 20-hour duty is the minimum requirement for becoming a full-time employee, and you must include this in your reference letter.
  3. Every reference must offer specific information about your performance and the talents demonstrated. Your employer will authorize this information. Keep in mind that if you do not provide accurate information about your competence and performance level in your professional sector, your RPL will be ineligible for immigration.
  4.  Any of the authorized notaries should perform the certification. Lack of certification will also cause your RPL to be rejected for immigration purposes since the certified copy of your employer reference letter will be used to assess your ACS competence.

You Can Submit An RPL In The Following Two Categories:

  1. The first is for those who do have a relevant ICT degree, but not enough ICT content to back that with. The ACS requires the candidate to have six years of professional experience as an ICT employee. Of course, the field of employment must also be relevant to the nominated discipline ANZSCO code.

2. Candidates with no tertiary qualifications are expected to bring along an additional two years of professional experience in the ICT domain. That takes a total of eight years of work experience in total for these candidates. However, these additional two years are exempted from being relevant to the applied ANZSCO code.

Introduction to SkillSelect in Australia Migration For Skilled Professionals

Introduction to SkillSelect in Australia migration for skilled professionals

SkillSelect is an Australian immigration program that connects talented overseas employees with Australian businesses. The system functions similarly to an online job board, connecting people with companies based on their abilities, skills, and requirements. Employers can assess abroad employees’ profiles and advise them to apply for a visa after answering questions about their background, history, and competencies. Furthermore, the Australian government may pressure them to apply for a visa.

Potential migrant workers must provide basic background information such as skills, English language fluency, and educational background. Based on this information, they may consider the applicant’s application for a visa under the GSM program.

This strategy also addresses regional skill shortages. Skilled workers are needed in most rural areas of Australia to fill local poverty. SkillSelect recommends such people to businesses (if the application specifies that they wish to be considered for rural jobs) if they meet the company’s requirements. The approach ensures that the skilled migration program satisfies Australia’s economic development needs.

How Does SkillSelect Work?

1. To submit their information to SkillSelect, applicants must complete an online form given by the Australian Department of Home Affairs (DHA).

2. Applicants take a skill competency exam to assess their abilities, English language comprehension, and educational level.

3. Applicants must submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for the visa category they wish to be considered.

4. Once the candidate is in the system, Australian companies or state and territory governments may encourage them to submit a visa application. It is the process of securing a nomination or sponsorship, which is required for most skilled worker visas.

5. The applicant needs to apply for a visa.

6. If your application is approved, you will be awarded a visa and can live and work in Australia.

Is there a point requirement to get accepted?

– A skilled work visa requires a minimum of 60 points.

– There is a 65-point minimum point requirement for Business Innovation visas.

Skilled Worker Visa Categories

For skilled professionals, there are eight visa categories available under SkillSelect. Each requires a specific skill set. The information below will help you learn about the different types of visas and the application process.

Skilled Worker Visa Categories

Skilled Independent Visa (Subclass 189)

It is a permanent residency visa for skilled workers who have completed a points test. It is not necessary to have employer or family sponsorship, nor does it require official nomination from a state or territory. To apply, you must have an invitation as well as the following qualifications:

1. Nominate yourself for a position on the appropriate list of specialized professions.

2. You should not be over the age of 50.

3. Have a suitable skills assessment for that employment.

4. Be able to communicate in English.

5. You received the score mentioned in your letter of invitation based on the criteria in the points test.

Skilled Nominated Visa (subclass 190)

It is a permanent residency visa for skilled workers who have completed a points examination. However, it does require a nomination from a state or territory administration, as well as the following requirements:

1. Nominate yourself for a position on the appropriate list of specialized professions.

2. Have a skill evaluation done for that occupation.

3. You should not be over the age of 50.

3. You received the score mentioned in your letter of invitation based on the criteria in the points test.

4. Be fluent in English and have been nominated by a government agency in any Australian state or territory.

Skilled Regional (Provisional) Visa (subclass 489)

It is a four-year visa that allows qualified individuals to reside and work in certain areas of Australia. You must meet different standards depending on whether you apply through the invitation pathway or the extended stay method.

Temporary Work Skilled Visa (subclass 457)

This visa is valid for four years. It is important to have a sponsor present and work in the nominated profession.

Employer Nomination Scheme (subclass 186)

It is a visa that allows highly skilled workers to stay in the country indefinitely. The prerequisites are as follows:

1. You’ve been accepted by an Australian employer who suggested you.

2. Unless you are exempt, you are under the age of 50.

3. Unless exempt, you must meet the ability, credentials, and English language proficiency requirements.

4. Apply to the stream for which you have been nominated (the Temporary Residence Transition stream, the Direct Entry stream, or the Agreement stream)

Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme Visa (subclass 187)

It is a permanent residency (migrant) visa for a skilled worker. It would be preferable if you also worked in regional Australia:

1. An authorized Australian employer has recommended me for a position in remote Australia (regional Australia does not include the Gold Coast, Newcastle, Brisbane, Sydney, Wollongong, or Melbourne)

2. Applicants under the age of 50 unless you are exempt.

3. Unless you are excluded, you must meet the abilities, credentials, and English language proficiency standards.

4. Applicants need to submit an application for the stream they are selected: (the Temporary Residence Transition, Direct Entry, or Agreement Stream)

Business Talent (Permanent) Visa (subclass 132)

You can establish a new business or expand an existing one in Australia with an entrepreneur visa. You need to be selected by the state or territorial government agency and invited to the minister’s application. You must also be proficient in at least one of the following skills:

1. If you want to apply for the visa in the Significant Business History stream, you must have at least AUD1.5 million in business and personal assets and an annual business turnover of at least AUD3 million; OR you must have more than AUD1.5 million in business and personal support and an annual business turnover of at least AUD3 million.

2. Assume you want to apply for a visa in the Venture Capital Entrepreneur category. In that situation, you must have at least AUD1 million in venture capital investment to begin commercializing and developing a high-value firm concept.

Business Innovation and Investment (subclass 188)

The entrepreneur visa is for persons who desire to start a business or invest in Australia. A nomination by a state or territory government or an Australian agency is required, as is an invitation to apply from the Minister of Immigration and Border Protection.

SkillSelect will send you an invitation if you are invited to apply for a visa. After that, you will have 60 days from the invitation date to apply for a valid visa online before the invitation expires.

Applications submitted outside of this window will be deemed invalid, and you will be required to wait for another invitation before being eligible to apply. Because the online visa application system will utilize information from your EOI, you will not need to re-enter some information you have already submitted. Not everyone who submits an EOI will be invited to apply for a visa.

Applicants will not be notified of the status of your EOI or informed of the potential of obtaining an invitation.

Following each invitation round, the Department will publish the lowest points scoring points test mark that allows an EOI to be invited. This will give you an indication of your chances of being invited to the next round.

A Bridging visa cannot be granted by submitting an EOI, which is not a visa application. Your eligibility for Bridging access will only be considered once you have submitted a valid visa application.

Before you are invited to apply for a skilled visa, if you are already in Australia and your visa is about to expire, you will need to apply for another visa to stay. If you do not meet the requirements for a new visa, you must leave Australia before your existing visa expires.

Key Considerations in Employment Reference Letter For ACS Skill Assessment

Employment Reference Letter

RPL ACS skill assessments include an employment reference letter It is a medium that allows you to describe your professional journey in detail. ACS will be more convenient in evaluating your competency if you provide a more detailed description of your professional life. Your employment reference letter can present the assessing authority with every detail of your professional life. You should pay considerable attention to this application for a positive ACS skill assessment. In this way, the management can properly assess you and help you write your professional life systematically and perfectly.

Most candidates mistake not giving the employment reference letter the attention it deserves. This becomes a hindrance for them to get into Australia and work there as an ICT professional.

Things To Consider In Employment Reference Letter

After evaluating hundreds of ACS RPL reports, we have found some errors, and some precautions can be taken to avoid these errors. We have written this article to familiarize you with the key points in writing an employment reference letter for the ACS skill assessment. Make sure you read each issue one by one to get a clear understanding.

Date format in DD/MM/YY

In a reference letter for employment, the date is formatted standardly. DD/MM/YY means data first, month in the middle, and year in the last. So, don’t forget this point.

You must show your work experience in this format, mentioning your start and end dates. If you are currently employed, you should write ‘To date.’ That date will be the maximum date of the work experience when writing the reference letter.

Mention The Tasks You Were Assigned

If you want to impress the ACS authority, mention as many employment tasks as possible in your employment reference letter. It is important to remember that the task you choose must be relevant to the ANZSCO occupation list job you selected. It must demonstrate your competency in the position you have chosen.

A minimum of 65% of your job description of the assigned task must be relevant to the chosen job role. Please describe the study in detail for assessment. You will prepare an incorrect RPL report if you demonstrate carelessness or mistakes here.

If you have worked as a specialist in ICT Security 262112, then among all the other responsibilities you have, the following are the most important ones:

Maintain and design database architecture, data structures, dictionaries, tables, and naming conventions to ensure all data master files are accurate and complete.

Backups, recovery procedures, and integrity and security controls must be established and maintained operationally.

Implement and administer database documentation, policies, guidelines, and procedures.

Database systems and upgrades should be verified as per the proper quality testing procedures and scripts, including debugging, reproduction, logging, tracking, and addressing every problem.

System security and disaster recovery planning require you to manage processes, operational management, and procedures.

Work with security vendors, service providers, suppliers, and external sources, analyze, recommend, install, and maintain software security apps, and monitor contractual obligations, performance delivery, and service level agreements.

Diagnose, solve, and repair software and hardware malfunctions on servers, including communications infrastructure and workstations.

Avoid Showing Concurrent Employment

In addition to diagnosing, solving, and repairing server-related software and hardware malfunctions, you must also not be accepted by the ANZSCO authority, and they will not deem your employment as ‘Skilled employment.’ This experience will be considered ‘Concurrent employment’ in your ACS skill assessment.

Write The Specified Information

In addition to diagnosing, solving, and repairing server-related software and hardware malfunctions, you must also support proper and detailed information about your skills and performance level in your professional field is a must. Diagnose, solve, and repair software and hardware malfunctions on servers, including communications

Proper Signatures

Unless your employer signs your employment reference letter, it is invalid. You must have your RPL report signed as proof of its authenticity. It means that the employer or employment authority has authenticated the information provided in the report. We believe you have already understood the significance of the signature in such official reports or documents.

It’s important to read the report carefully before it’s signed by the authority to ensure that your name, contact details, reference and designation, and the officer’s role signing it are all included.

Get it Verified

Certification of an employment reference letter for its value and authenticity is a must for candidates, and your letter must be notarized.

You will be rejected for submitting an RPL report without certification. It is an important factor to consider since the certificate of your employment reference letter will be considered when assessing your ability.

Be Honest About Your Work Experience.

Do not attempt to impress or win the heart of the authority through fraudulent means. The RPL ACS skill evaluation authority has enough experience to recognize the difference between a genuine and fake employment reference letter, which will help them uncover your fraud.

Even though you can find hundreds of online references, do not copy someone else’s work experience and relevant attributes. You should present a real report to the authority to explain your true professional abilities, work performance level, and level of expertise.

Highlight Your Plus Points

You must highlight your plus points in your skills and performances. It doesn’t matter how qualified you are as an ICT engineer, and you have to prove your competency by providing a reference letter. Your strong points can work wonders when it comes to assessing your qualifications. It would help if you showed efficiency and expertise in your work to win this war, so these two positive qualities must be demonstrated.

Mention Work Hours And Job Location

You must mention in every job record the number of hours you worked per week, regardless of whether you worked full- or part-time. ACS authority evaluates your qualifications and potential for the expected position based on your invested time.

You should also mention the country in which you worked, and you must note the location of every company where you worked. Comparing the country’s operating environment to the Australian ICT field environment will help the authority determine your capability. You will also find out if you can adjust to the Australian atmosphere by taking the RPL ACS skill assessment.

Additionally, you must submit a letterhead signed by an official with authority from your organization. Digital signatures have to be accepted and verifiable.

Why Choose ACSRPLAustralia?

Don’t let your ego get in the way of writing a critical report. It does not matter how many official words you have registered or submitted. ACS RPL report writing is completely different from those noted. Employment reference letters must be systematically arranged and written. Unless you have experience in RPL writing, you should hire an ACS RPL writing specialist.

The experts know that writing this report will put pressure on them and they work hard for the best result. A balanced presentation of your work experience will sound natural to the authority. Upon finding that the report lacks quality, the expert also checks, proofreads, and edits it.

Their expertise, ability to stay up to date on the latest updates, and professional skills allow them to write an excellent ACS RPL report and employment reference letter.
